Privacy Policy – FahrCoach Waitlist

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how FahrCoach (“we,” “our,” “us”) collects and uses information when you join our pre-launch waitlist.

1. What We Collect

When you sign up, we collect:

First name and last name
Email address
Canton of residence

We also automatically record:

Submission time and date
Browser/device information (user agent)
Referral parameters (UTM links, if present)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use this information only to:

Confirm your registration on the waitlist
Send launch and early-access updates
Analyze aggregate interest to improve our launch campaign

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

3. Legal Basis

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR / revDSG Art. 6). You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore) servers located in the EU. Access is restricted to authorized team members under confidentiality agreements. Connections to the Site use HTTPS encryption, and Firebase App Check helps prevent abuse.

5. Retention

We retain your data until:

You unsubscribe or request deletion, or
The public launch of the FahrCoach app is complete

Afterward, data will be deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Request correction or erasure
Withdraw consent to emails
Complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)

7. Analytics and Cookies

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Firebase Analytics or Plausible) to measure page activity. No cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

8. Third Parties / Sub-processors

Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd.) – data storage and security
Plausible Analytics (OÜ, EU) – aggregated site statistics

All third parties process data within the EU/EEA and are GDPR-compliant.

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us for removal.

10. Updates

We may revise this Policy before launch. Any major change will be announced on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
